<br />
Hello there!<br />
Well it has been approx. 12 weeks since moving into our new little nest. It has taken a bit to get used to, but I think its now starting to feel like home. The first couple of weeks felt as though we were in a holiday rentral as the house is so much more modern than our last house and We had to make a few changes to 'soften' it a little.<br />
First I had pulled out the ugly cream venetian blinds and replaced them with soft flowy 'vivan' curtains from ikea. It was a simple, cost effective way to pretty up the room. As we havnt got loads of money to spend I decided to list the old blinds on ebay, which sold for close to $300. I was stunned!! But I then used that money (not all of it mind you) on new curtains and brushed chrome curtain rods.<br />
I love how it looks.<br />
Next A lot of my furniture was that really dark teak wood. I had been planning on painting the pieces of furniture for so, so long but put it off as I was waiting to move and wanted to get the feel of th new place before painting.<br />
So now we've moved...nothing was holding me back.<br />
My first project was our large tv buffet...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-674yloIozII/UxwuzYbsM2I/AAAAAAAADnM/ORPW5eusbp4/s1600/buffet+1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-674yloIozII/UxwuzYbsM2I/AAAAAAAADnM/ORPW5eusbp4/s1600/buffet+1.jpg" height="253" width="320" /></a></div>
As you can see its very heavy and very dark.<br />
<br />
I had some 'annie sloan' pure white chalk paint on hand so I went to town on it. Once I set my heart on a project, esp a painting one I cant stop till its done.<br />
So Once the kids were dropped off at school I was into it and it was done by that evening...I told you I have to finish it off. Also its one of the perks of chalk paint.. Its quick drying.<br />
I sanded and painted all day...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jQXIie3H1Bo/Uxwvm476NmI/AAAAAAAADnU/7FhnKpQ58r4/s1600/buffet2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-M9TGBvU356k/UxwvopCDyAI/AAAAAAAADnc/lbICukregxs/s1600/buffet3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-M9TGBvU356k/UxwvopCDyAI/AAAAAAAADnc/lbICukregxs/s1600/buffet3.jpg" height="160" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Then I was happy with the end result...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jQXIie3H1Bo/Uxwvm476NmI/AAAAAAAADnY/VaiyAz7Q2XY/s1600/buffet2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-jQXIie3H1Bo/Uxwvm476NmI/AAAAAAAADnY/VaiyAz7Q2XY/s1600/buffet2.jpg" height="253" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-jQXIie3H1Bo/Uxwvm476NmI/AAAAAAAADnU/7FhnKpQ58r4/s1600/buffet2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><br />
<br />
Not bad for a days work, I think. I'm still waiting to get my handles for the top drawers.<br />
The next thing I had my eyes set on was our kitchen bench stools...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wSmiAQv7SnU/UxwwSaOdhfI/AAAAAAAADno/cg155m_UCmU/s1600/chairs1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-wSmiAQv7SnU/UxwwSaOdhfI/AAAAAAAADno/cg155m_UCmU/s1600/chairs1.jpg" height="320" width="320" /></a></div>
This was a super quick job. The longest part was probably sanding the tops. I was going to leave the tops raw but after a few days didn't like the look. So, I decided to white wash them. I havnt taken a pic yet but if I get a chance...I will.<br />
So welcome to Our "new" nest...Im still getting used to it, but we're getting there. xo<br />

OH MY! I knew I haven't been here a while but when I actually got on and looked I almost fell over! I have been completely out of bloggersVille for so long.<br />
My little family and I have had a crazy year, busy busy year but it has a been a good year.<br />
<br />
In October we hit the high seas and went on a much longed for cruise holiday. It was AH-mazing!!<br />
We went on the P & O pacific Dawn. <br />
We left Brisbane dock on Saturday 19th October at 2pm. We sailed to 'Isle of Pines' then 'Mystery Isalnd', next stop was 'Suva, Fiji' then 'Port Denarau, Fiji'. After that our final stop was 'Port Vila, Vanuatu' . Honestly, it was the best holiday EVER!<br />
The kids had an absolute ball as we adults did too. We ate, swam, snorkled, got dressed up for dinners, saw shows and just had an awesome time! I FULLY recommend it anyday! The service too was 100% five star. I honestly couldn't fault it.<br />

<br />
The holiday was the best. It was well deserved and we had the absolute best time.<br />
<br />
<br />
Another BIG thing that has happened in our lives is that we have made the decision to move home.<br />
It was a HUGE decision that encountered hours and hours of thought, discussion and forethought.<br />
It was huge as I thought we'd be here, in 'our lil nest' for a very, very long time. We have lived here for a tad over 7 years and have transformed our home from a 1990's rental to a beautiful, homely, snuggly nest for our family of 4. It is bitter sweet.<br />
There have been so many memories Good and bad here, but mostly all good.<br />
<br />
We've had tons of kids parties, farewell parties, anniversary parties, bbq's, and good times in our garden. Our children were babies when we moved in.<br />
Miss mimi was 4 and little T was 20 months old. Now they are big kids (8 and 10). <br />
We have painted, planted, built and changed this home with our finger print on it. We have layed concrete with our names in it, buried our Jojo under our big tree and collected eggs from our chookies we had around the side (and sometimes finding them in the most bizzare spots). We had many nights in the back yard with the kids looking at the stars, having a backyard fire or playing soccer. setting up cubbies in the loungeroom, baking many, many yummy things in my kitchen...with and without the kids. Playdough being rolled out on the dining table and having it walked through the house. Just sitting with my husband out the back with a glass of wine, nibblies and catching up on the day whilst watching the kids swim in the pool with the neighbours kids.. I will forever remember constantly having cousins and kids run around this place making lots and lots of noise and mess. I love that!!!<br />
Yep, I even at times, envisioned seeing Miss Mimi walk out of here in her wedding dress when the time came. I never actually thought we'd leave.<br />
<br />
Here are some recent pics of 'our nest'...<br />

<br />
BUT...as I said with much mulling over what to do we have decided to sell our beloved home and move on. <br />
The reasons are very positive!<br />
I know it will be ok.<br />
The day the sign went up out the front, my heart shattered into a thousand pieces. We had one open house. That day we had 24 families come through and had 4 offers put down. We were in utter shock.<br />
The final offer we got was above and beyond what we ever though we would get, so all that hard work we had done certainly paid off.<br />
<br />
The selling process was quick and easy...Just as well as I think I would have pulled out. LOL!<br />
<br />
As of next Tuesday, 17th December our lil family of 4 will be starting the next happy chapter of our lives.<br />
We aren't moving far. Just two suburbs over. I will be honest, I don't cope well with change. But I am looking forward to this as we have done this all for the right reasons and everything so far has just fallen into place. Although it has been a hard decision to make we are super happy we made it.<br />
<br />
We are about to make some new/more memories to carry with us forever!<br />
<br />
Im going to continue this blog. I'm kind of excited as I get to start again. (décor/garden wise that is). I hope you all stick with me and continue to follow me on this new journey...<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mD3RPU2To-0/URWnepDvy_I/AAAAAAAACNk/jX5WV9g9lHw/s1600/headerlinenplainbackgroundfairy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="174" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-mD3RPU2To-0/URWnepDvy_I/AAAAAAAACNk/jX5WV9g9lHw/s320/headerlinenplainbackgroundfairy.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
For some time now I have been dabbling in the whole clean eating thing. To me it just sounds so good. I Love the whole idea of not eating processed foods, sugary foods and fatty foods.<br />
<br />
The whole idea behind eating 'clean' is just that...foods that are fresh, healthy, tastey and CLEAN. The less ingredients your food has, the closer it is to its natural state is the way I want me and my family to eat.<br />
<br />
Also, Ive never been one to label read...but Im learning. The reason Ive never really been a label reader is because Ive never really understood what it all says entirely.<br />
The beauty with clean eating is that if there is somthing on the label I dont understand, cant say or has numbers...ditch it!<br />
<br />
Usually good food has normal, naturally grown ingredients.<br />
<br />
Also, Im a shocker for calorie counting...yep, Ill admit it. Ive always hated "dieting" and hate that you need to deprive yourself.<br />
<br />
I love food and I think that everyone should have a good relationship with it. Its our fuel. What we eat REALLY is what we are. Im such a believer in this!!<br />
<br />
With my family having several health problems I decided that I would look into the whole clean eating way.<br />
None of us have ever been diagnosed with any food allergies or intolerances however the more i read about food and additives etc I firmly believe that food contributes heavily on our moods, emotions, energy levels, headaches, body aches and general funtioning of our day to day life. Obviouse, I know but it took me a while to fully 'get it'.<br />
<br />
My son tends to get very Hyper. He has also been diagnosed with severe dust mite allergy. He also suffers with asthma. He also wasnt sleeping due to all this which I think then contributed to the hyper. I realised that although we had to get the dust under control...I thought I would also try food elimination to see if it made any difference.<br />
I cut sugar (replaced it with natural alternative such as as coconut palm sugar, xylotol and agave) cut back wheat and dairy (replaced with almond milk and with the exception of Natural greek yoghurt) and started usuing alot of healthier alternatives to most foods.<br />
For example cooking air popped popcorn instead of buying the rubbishy packet ones in the super market. (just pop a handful of kernals in a brown lunch bag, place in the microwave for 2.5 mins, spinkle lightly with celtic sea salt...done!)<br />
<br />
I noticed after 2 weeks of this way of eating his allergies settled down, he was sleeping and he was so calm and happy.<br />
<br />
After the 2 weeks I let he and his sister get macdonalds as a treat. Within 1 hour he had headaches, felt sick and slept all afternoon. <br />
<br />
My point has been made! I need no more convincing.<br />
<br />
My daughter very simular. Although she doesnt suffer from the allergy side of things she is an extreemly emotional child. Cries at the drop of a hat and cant controll herself.<br />
After 2 weeks...I noticed improvements.<br />
<br />
Now, with my husband its kind of a different story. He has stomach ulcers. He seems to have a sensitive stomach so I have had to be carefull with foods in general anyway. <br />
<br />
Again, I cut back all the dairy, wheat, sugar processed crap. <br />
I made sure I sent my hubby to work with a proper healthy protien filled morning snack, a healthy clean, protein filled lunch and again another afternoon tea that was healthy and clean.<br />
<br />
He too has been noticing more energy, less lethargy and honestly...he just looks better in his skin, eyes, hair and also moods (hehe...dont tell him though)<br />
<br />
As for myself...well I also suffer with allergies, asthma, sleeplessness, chronic tiredness (contradiction...I know, but its true) Ive also had chronic adrenal fatigue, depression blah, blah, blah...<br />
<br />
Anyway, along with a load of other things (natropath, acupuncture, vitamins etc) I have found that eating, food, lifestyle exercise has really played a huge role in helping me feel better.<br />
<br />
Although Im not 100% Ive come so, so far. <br />
Honestly, food CAN be used as medicine. I used to be a little scepticle and thought yeah ...too hard. Even though I knew it to be true it was always a bit hard to 'change' a lifestyle.<br />
<br />
Ive never been a bad eater, big (alcahol) drinker and Ive always like to keep fit. But I wasnt educated!! What I thought was right in fact wasnt...well, I was on the right track but not hitting the mark.<br />
Web sites such as <a href="http://www.sarahwilson.com.au/" target="_blank">www.sarahwilson.com.au</a> have been kept in my favorites for super quick reference. <br />
Im not wanting to be a super waif super model with abs of steel, however I do want to be a 'fun' mum with loads of energy, happy and take pride in myself...to look AND feel great!! I want shiny hair, good skin and nails, bright eyes and healthy weight...with energy to match. I dont want to be depressed and miserable...which food CAN do! <br />
I want my kids and husband to be proud of me but most of all I want to feel happy within myself...which Im getting there.<br />
<br />
Dont get me wrong. My kids are still kids. And unfortunalty have a sweet tooth. I still let my kids have chocolate on occation and let them go to parties...BUT in each and everyday at home we eat well balanced, healthy CLEAN, unprocessed foods. Breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as snacks I strive to eat clean.<br />
<br />
<br />
With that in mind...I would like to share what I made for my family this morning...<br />
<strong></strong><br />
<strong>Clean French Toast...</strong><br />
Soak gluten free or sour dough bread in egg whites till soaked through. Then fry you bread in coconut oil (which is very, very healthy) untill golden brown on each side.<br />
<strong></strong><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rkWPu1_sI-M/UR7uB-qxgZI/AAAAAAAACOM/-4GWUobyvd0/s1600/20130209_101847.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-rkWPu1_sI-M/UR7uB-qxgZI/AAAAAAAACOM/-4GWUobyvd0/s320/20130209_101847.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Once cooked top with natural greek yoghurt, berries, goji berries, chia seeds and agave...sooooooo YUM!<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iSCc62RUipE/UR7t9DIwAqI/AAAAAAAACOE/QiISYmOvZ14/s1600/20130209_102425.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-iSCc62RUipE/UR7t9DIwAqI/AAAAAAAACOE/QiISYmOvZ14/s320/20130209_102425.png" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
One thing I want my kids to know is that you dont have to sit down to a plate of mung beans to be healthy...you can still have your sweet, savory, snacks, dips, burgers all that kids love but made with a healthy alternative...They too are getting it and I love that. My kids Love to eat healthy and they do eat most of what I give them...high 5's to them!!<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-klLPx6Z7hG8/UQYMflYL-eI/AAAAAAAACNE/PeTtAk6k-pg/s1600/the-village-markets_300x200.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-klLPx6Z7hG8/UQYMflYL-eI/AAAAAAAACNE/PeTtAk6k-pg/s1600/the-village-markets_300x200.jpg" /></a></div>
About 2 weeks ago my husband and little T had a "day with the boys" doing boy things like surfing, fishing, bbq-ing and just well, being boys. So Mis Mimi and decided 'why should the boys have all the fun?' so we put on our prettiest dresses, our summeriest (is that a word) sandles on and headed to the markets.<br />
We ventured to <a href="http://thevillagemarketsgc.com.au/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">The Village Markets</a>Located at Burleigh Heads state school at the beautiful Burliegh heads.<br />
We had such a nice time. Checking out all the vinatge clothing, homewares and food.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1IRsVnhEGsU/UQYKpOyDGHI/AAAAAAAACMU/QcQOYHJ2-Yw/s1600/20130106_111955.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-1IRsVnhEGsU/UQYKpOyDGHI/AAAAAAAACMU/QcQOYHJ2-Yw/s320/20130106_111955.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This was some gorgeouse glass bottles with Feathers attached...simply beautiful.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-H9b1AmIz71w/UQYKte8IxoI/AAAAAAAACMc/ufSFLbSQZlo/s1600/20130106_112120.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-H9b1AmIz71w/UQYKte8IxoI/AAAAAAAACMc/ufSFLbSQZlo/s320/20130106_112120.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
This absolutly gorgeouse find was at a vintage stall selling genuine vinatge items...how totaly cute is this tray??<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--MGYmNnQXGI/UQYKwnCPIbI/AAAAAAAACMk/Cjw1YpGbJ6k/s1600/20130106_111833.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/--MGYmNnQXGI/UQYKwnCPIbI/AAAAAAAACMk/Cjw1YpGbJ6k/s320/20130106_111833.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I thought these little photo props were cute. Someone had made Glasses, red lips and mastouches on sticks...a bit cute I think.<br />
It was so nice not being rushed by the boys.<br />
<br />
After our wander around Miss mimi and I headed to <a href="http://www.4220.com.au/Blog/Festive_on_James_9th_Dec_2011_-_Burleigh_Heads" target="_blank">James street</a> for a wonder around and some lunch which we had in a nice little vegetarian cafe...was delicouse!<br />
<br />
After such a lovely day we came home and did a bit of plesant gardening, as the boys walked in deleriouse from exhaustion...all in all it was such a beautiful day!<br />
<br />

<br />
Well how have your holidays been? It has been so wonderful having my wonderful husband off work for a few days. <br />
<br />
Last friday, I had the extended family over (brother/wife/daughter, sister/husband/son & Daughter) for a long awaited family brunch.<br />
<br />
It was a really nice day.<br />
Everyone arrived at 10am.<br />
We ate at 10.45am. I had the newspaper, coffee and fresh flowers ready as I made the Hollondaise sauce for the eggs benadict, while miss Mimi made the pancakes...all was wonderful as the morning progressed. <br />
<br />
Here are some pics...<br />
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I even used some of my own nannas milk jugs for vases, they were so pretty.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3KIdC-rz5r8/UN2WhIATChI/AAAAAAAACKA/YEcHY3bgq5I/s1600/reqalmostdaisy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-3KIdC-rz5r8/UN2WhIATChI/AAAAAAAACKA/YEcHY3bgq5I/s320/reqalmostdaisy.jpg" width="195" /></a></div>
<br />
WOW! What a year My family and I have had. To be perfectly honest, Ill be glad to see the back end of it. <br />
<br />
That said, I wanted to just write about although there is bad...there is always good to counteract.<br />
<br />
I believe this.<br />
<br />
There is ALWAYS someone out there worse off than you...and more often than not theyre happier, hehe.<br />
<br />
I feel in this world we forget to just simply STOP and smell the roses. Something we need to do, not once every now and again but every single day.<br />
Look at the things we often over look.<br />
<br />
For instance, to me...<br />
The simple pleasure of sitting on the beach, late afternoon deeply breathing the salty air and watching my children, dog and husband play and run is just simply breathtaking. The peace, the calm, the contentment. Perfect!<br />
<br />
Another. There is nothing more decadent, indulgent and sensual than biting into a semi-soft chocolate Lindt ball. The hard shell, cracking and the gooey inside pouing into my mouth. YUM! Pure pleasure.<br />
<br />
Also, the feeling you get when you are with your most favourite people and you are having a huge, big belly laugh. You know the kind that makes you wheeze, make tears run down your face and your stomach muscles are so tight they hurt...that is awesome.<br />
<br />
Flowers...almost everyday My gorgeouse 7 year old son pics a flower for me. Whether its a perfect gardenia from the neighbors garden (oops...) or a wilted dandelion...to me it makes no difference. They are all beautiful. Beautiful because flowers just are that. Also, because my son gave them to me...he thinks of little things like that and to me thats special. I put each and every one into a vase. My house is always full of fresh flowers...lucky me!<br />
<br />
Finally...those night i go to bed and that drizzly rain outside starts to pour. My bed seems so much more snuggly and it feels that little bit sweeter knowing the next day is a day off...and there are no plans! ahhhh...PURE, AWESOMENESS!<br />
<br />
Its the little things in life that make life wonderful. There is so much uncertainty in life (so expect nothing)...but so much beauty (appreciate everything).<br />
<br />
Just had to share this positive little thought.<br />
<br />
What simple things make you happy? I would LOVE to hear them...<br />
<br />

<br />
About three weeks ago i caught up with a friend I hadnt seen in a while. I noticed her skin was so super soft and silky. So much so I had to comment on it.<br />
<br />
She mentioned to me that she has just started using 'organic coconut oil' the cooking kind, lol.<br />
I was like "wha...really?!" she told me that it is such amazing stuff. She uses it all over her body as well as her face. She even told me she puts a handful in her hair at night and then washes it out the next morning...excellent hair treatment.<br />
<br />
Im so glad she told me.<br />
<br />
Well...I had to find out more! So, I googled the stuff! WOW, WOW, WOW!!<br />
It really is amazing! It does SOOO MUCH!<br />
Today I purchased a one kilo bottle and already Ive slathered it onto my body, wiped it through my hair as well as swollowed a spoonful.<br />
<br />
As time passes I'll let you know how it goes.<br />

Last December I decided to finally get around to sorting, organising and making our home office 'pretty'. <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j2cLEeTzM4k/UIXbiMvju6I/AAAAAAAACGY/wRokI-Ad0ZU/s1600/$(KGrHqIOKjQE7FvHOg2PBO)hOKcgkw~~60_12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="207" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-j2cLEeTzM4k/UIXbiMvju6I/AAAAAAAACGY/wRokI-Ad0ZU/s320/$(KGrHqIOKjQE7FvHOg2PBO)hOKcgkw~~60_12.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I tried to do it as low budget as i could.<br />
I used an old pine desk, as well as a very old pine bookshelf that had been sitting in the corner of our spare room gathering dust (and piles of junk). <br />
So one week hubby and i got in and finished painting the walls, and then the man inside me LOL, came out. I pulled out the electric sander, paint gun and got to work.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TjpPw6j1Pq4/UIXbqp_ZcTI/AAAAAAAACGg/IUzCM_rE6oo/s1600/162.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-TjpPw6j1Pq4/UIXbqp_ZcTI/AAAAAAAACGg/IUzCM_rE6oo/s320/162.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Once all done, we brought it in placed the bookshelf on top of the desk. I had old black gift boxes that I repurposed into storage. Printed my own labels and here is the end result...<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fA4RyvCRIJ4/UIXduJsSCDI/AAAAAAAACGw/RaOYY_Zf100/s1600/165.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-fA4RyvCRIJ4/UIXduJsSCDI/AAAAAAAACGw/RaOYY_Zf100/s320/165.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Im happy to say that I was so pleased with the end result. The room was light airy, fresh and beautiful. I did most of the decorating with items i had. Its amazing what a bit of paint can do.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Well, almost 12months on...its still there but just not so...um...neat and tidy...*sad face*</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had all good intentions of being organised and tidy this year but as the months rolled on, the paper piles on the kitchen bench ended up just getting placed on the desk...and after so long doing this im no more organised than i was prior to the makeover *sigh*</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Last week I was at Robina town centre walking past Kikki.K...one of my most favorite stores in the universe.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I go in there and indulge in my fanatises and in total denial that my home office will and does look like that store.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Really...it doesnt, but one can dream, lol.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
All the pretty white and blue boxes, files, paper, pens, diaries, calenders...ahhhhhhhhhhh..........H.E.A.V.E.N!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
While I was there I noticed a woman siting down having a one on one consultation. I also noticed close by a brochure for 'paperflow' workshops. I asked the shop assistant about it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I had heard about these before and wanted to do but in my denial thought "ive got it sorted, i dont need to do one of them...im the organised queen" </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After talking to the lovely store assistant, I admited defeat and decided I DO need help.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So i booked in for the last workshop of the year.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
That was last night. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The workshop was a cosy affair. Just me and 3 other ladies (as well as the professional organiser and shop lady)</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
we were greeted with either a glass of champagne or sparkling water, and fresh strawberries, tim tams and crackers.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We introduced ourselves to each other and told each other why decided we needed to be there.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It was an hour workshop which included a handbook and a kikki.k pen. We also were entitled to 10% discount on the night as well as a one week after the workshop to allow us to go home and work out what we need.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It had some amazing ideas. Their 6 step paper station is fantastic and I am going to implement it into our home...not just in the office either.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The principles could be applied to almost anywhere in the home.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-seUlozUDYEs/UIXc_V6x52I/AAAAAAAACGo/UoVMpr8kbX0/s1600/kki.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="148" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-seUlozUDYEs/UIXc_V6x52I/AAAAAAAACGo/UoVMpr8kbX0/s320/kki.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
After it was all done I purchased the 2013 family calender ~ great for organising and planning things individually and as a family.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I also purchased the kikki.k 'peek-a-boo' shopping basket. it was suggested to leave it at the front door and place everything you need in the car. All you have to do is pick it up in the morning as your walking out the door and your not searching for things like DVDs, Library books, signed forms for school etc. As you remember (ideally the night before) place it in the basket. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Along with the basket I also purchased the 5-tab plastic pocket. This is also great to place in the basket for the smaller things like shopping list, mail, forms etc that I may need through out the day. It also fits neatly into my handbag.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LeNUoslhW58/UIXtpeYaQfI/AAAAAAAACHk/jmDDAWEBtxU/s1600/20121023_084952.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-LeNUoslhW58/UIXtpeYaQfI/AAAAAAAACHk/jmDDAWEBtxU/s320/20121023_084952.png" width="240" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
So today Im all set and keen to tackel the office. Miss Mimi is home sick from school today so I am making the most of my time to start planning.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think the problem I had origanally with my office is that I did all the decorating and put pretty boxes etc around but honestly...didnt realy serve a purpose other than to 'look pretty'.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now my office will not just look pretty but will also be funtionable.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-muXBxeoQRKU/UIXuaKk6XpI/AAAAAAAACHs/wcmvw9kyDG8/s1600/20121023_090204.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-muXBxeoQRKU/UIXuaKk6XpI/AAAAAAAACHs/wcmvw9kyDG8/s320/20121023_090204.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Today my goal is:</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*Revising my notes</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*sorting & cleaning office</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*Planning what I need exactly to have a properly funtioning office</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*making notes for what I need</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The goal=</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
1.Have a fresher, tidier office that I can locate things at an instant</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
2. Have a smoother running home, Finances etc.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
3. Save money</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
4. Happy family!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
If you ever get a chance to do a kikki.k workshop I would definitly consider it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I feel it has given me a new lease on organising and will be much, much easier to maintain in the long run.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Happy friday friends!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QiR1q0l3aeU/UIFFphIfZtI/AAAAAAAACFA/hToBmjuBWPQ/s1600/car.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a> </div>

Look at my pretty holiday toes...I hate my feet, ugly, ugly, short stumpy feet and toes but i have pretty 'french manicured' toe nails I did my self the night before we left for our Ballina caravan holiday.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T8N0mLbL1wA/UIFEChgejnI/AAAAAAAACEw/fs6P54ztw-8/s1600/feet.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-T8N0mLbL1wA/UIFEChgejnI/AAAAAAAACEw/fs6P54ztw-8/s320/feet.png" width="273" /></a></div>
<br />
Last Saturday we got back home from our wonderful holiday at ballina. As mentioned in my last post, we went away with my brother, his wife and his delightful daughter, my six year old niece. It was a mixed bag with the weather. The first 2 days it was very hot (around 29 degrees) and the 3rd day it was heavy rain & wind, the 4th day was blowy but sunny and warm and the 5th day was nice. So over all, it was good.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QiR1q0l3aeU/UIFFphIfZtI/AAAAAAAACFA/hToBmjuBWPQ/s1600/car.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-QiR1q0l3aeU/UIFFphIfZtI/AAAAAAAACFA/hToBmjuBWPQ/s320/car.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
We went in the caravan, but before we left we preped everything so all we had to do was R.E.L.A.X!<br />
As a mum, im in charge of cooking cause we all know that if it wasnt caught that day and cooked on the barbeque, the husband dont cook it. You know, Im fine with that because I dont mind cooking AND that means husband cleans up after...win, win! hehe.<br />
Anyway, this time round I thought Im going to be super organised. My goal was to plan everything we were going to eat BEFORE we left, shop BEFORE we leave and cut up and wrap everything so when it comes time to cooking on holidays its less fuss as possable with the maximum nutrition. This was my kitchen 24hours prior to leaving...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pu8uHeCIUes/UIExQy-_ScI/AAAAAAAACEA/IjtUmNEXHS0/s1600/food.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-pu8uHeCIUes/UIExQy-_ScI/AAAAAAAACEA/IjtUmNEXHS0/s320/food.png" width="240" /></a></div>

hey, we're on holidays!<br />
<br />
Saturday night we were home and eating our regular food. Actually we eneded up with takeaway that night as we got home late and after emptying the caravan, doing 3 loads of washing and putting everything away I justt wanted to put my feet up, have a glass of merlot and have dinner made for me, hehe.<br />
Here are some happy snaps of our holiday...<br />

<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-P85iqAYBWDo/UG14yzRH9jI/AAAAAAAACBg/FZ62gYBS0Pg/s1600/20121003_113557.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-P85iqAYBWDo/UG14yzRH9jI/AAAAAAAACBg/FZ62gYBS0Pg/s320/20121003_113557.png" width="320" /></a></div>
We are in the process of getting ourselves organised for another caravan trip. Yay! So excited and well and truly overdue.<br />
This time we are heading to <a href="http://www.ballina.info/" target="_blank">Ballina</a>. I cannot wait. We are heading off for 5 nights and 6 days. We are heading off with my brother and his wife and their 5 year old daughter.<br />
It's the start of spring and I hope the weather stays as perfect as it has. Ive been making list {as you can see in the pic} planning and packing. Today we aired out the caravan and washed all the curtains. Its been closed up a little too long over winter so its nice to get in and get it ready.<br />
Im in the process of planning meals. Ive visted many websites for inspiration for example <a href="http://applevalleygirl.blogspot.com.au/2011/06/10-great-camping-recipes-tips-to-get.html" target="_blank">applevalleygirl</a> and <a href="http://www.taste.com.au/cuisine/quick+easy?gclid=CKrQ1Ifp47ICFXBUpgodkTYAig" target="_blank">taste.com.au</a>.<br />
Even though we are caravaning I still enjoy my cooking and having a nice meal with a glass of wine after a long day reading and at the beach. Im honestly not one for baked beans on toast or sausages on stale white bread for dinner. (although the odd sausage for lunch is good) Even on a budget we can still cook wholesome, tastey, yummy, gourmet meals. Once ive decided on the final list I will post what Ive come up with. hehe.<br />
Anyhoo...i will update with pics as time goes on...happy spring, all xoxo<br />
<br />
Im so excited!! Ahhhh....just thinking about it makes my body relax.<br />

Hi all...Ok Im playing catch-up today with my blog as Ive had so much going on. To be honest I havnt had a lot of energy to put into my blog...or anything for that matter. Its been a hard year this year and I havnt had my mum either as she is still in rehab so Ive also being trying to deal with that and the r est...BUT its all ok. Im telling myself it will be ok...not perfect. Far from perfect but its ok. <br />
Today is officially the first day of the spring school holidays and we are out the backyard, in the pool. <br />
It is a stunningly warm day. I have my little neice here and the neighbors little girl, as well as my two. The four of them are swimming and playing games. Its nice. After such a long, cold, depressing winter its nice for this day.<br />
Im happy, content and thankful for what I have.<br />
I have the most incredable husband any woman could EVER wish for. My kids are beautiful, loving souls.<br />
im thankful for my homely home and for the joy my family give me.<br />
<br />
On that note I want to introduce a new memebr of our family to you all.<br />
Harry...<br />

<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-l6lcKhbMl3k/UF-zM3qww3I/AAAAAAAAB68/XeoyjEdpqww/s1600/IMG_20120904_214527.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-l6lcKhbMl3k/UF-zM3qww3I/AAAAAAAAB68/XeoyjEdpqww/s320/IMG_20120904_214527.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Harry is our new baby. After much sadness we couldnt bare the emptiness and the spots where Jojo used to sit.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
We decided a few days later to get a new baby, which we did.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Again we went to the animal welfare legue and we were thrilled to discover this little fellow arrived there that morning.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He is a 5 year old male maltese.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He isnt Replacing Jonah but he is defintly filling that big hole.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
For about two weeks I tried to let poor Harry in but I think I was still grieving for Jonah.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I just couldnt love him like I did Jonah.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
However last week, I had a day home with Harry. Just him and I.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I think we bonded. We reached a new level in our relationship. LOL</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Now I think Harry and I are great friends.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Im still sad for Jonah but Harry now brings a smile to my face and melts my heart. He is my new little baby.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He is somewhat smaller than Jonah but so, so cute still.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He has differences to Jonah but alot of simalarities too. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He too is a gentle little soul. A snuggly, cuddley little friend.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-b0Z0BOnhHLc/UF-zPEz_ZdI/AAAAAAAAB7E/OPBRmqo_2fg/s1600/IMG_20120909_133631.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-b0Z0BOnhHLc/UF-zPEz_ZdI/AAAAAAAAB7E/OPBRmqo_2fg/s320/IMG_20120909_133631.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
He is getting used to our family and fitting in nicely.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QjNo08pD2e0/UF-zQf-bJDI/AAAAAAAAB7M/BDGpQNdDDoY/s1600/IMG_20120909_173232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-QjNo08pD2e0/UF-zQf-bJDI/AAAAAAAAB7M/BDGpQNdDDoY/s320/IMG_20120909_173232.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
His tiney little face is just too cute and we welcome our new little baby, Harry with open arms and open hearts.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Welcome Harry...we will have a lovely life together.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
xoxoxo</div>

what a few months we have had. First the loss of our baby (as my last post explained), then on the 3rd of September we lost our beloved little Jojo (Jonah). our loyal, loving, almost human like doggy. :(<br />
I wont go into the details of how we lost him but all I will say is that I found him and the circumstances werent nice. I was devistaed...the whole family was devistated.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VWOgI7hgc1M/UF-zIxsxMSI/AAAAAAAAB60/A4XZ6njoG98/s1600/IMG_20120718_105912.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-VWOgI7hgc1M/UF-zIxsxMSI/AAAAAAAAB60/A4XZ6njoG98/s320/IMG_20120718_105912.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
Jonah was our dearest baby! He came everywhere he possable could with us. He listened to us, knew us and connect with us in every sense.<br />
<br />
We rescued Jonah from the Animal welfare legue back in 2009. He was only 4 years old then. He was instantly apart of our family. Even though he was a little white fluffy dog he was a mans dog, never afraid to do anything. <br />
He wasnt scared or agressive. He always seemed to have a big smile on his face and was always so happy. Even at the park, the biggest, loudest, scariest, agressive dog could come up and jojo just bounced around as if to say "can we play?" totaly obliviouse of the fact that anydog could ever be angry. He was just always happy and friendly to everyone and everything. He even loved our neighbors cats, LOL.<br />
<br />
Jonah was a little burst of sunshine!<br />
<br />
He was my little shadow, my companion and buddy. <br />
Everyone who knew him said he was such a unique, beautiful dog. Everyone in our neighborhood new him and loved him. He would go and visit them all and they all loved him visiting. One neighbor was devistated the day he died and came over sobbing with flowers.<br />
<br />
Jonah understood each of us as individuals. I didnt even need a leash for him as he would stick by us and if he did happen to wonder off, we just say 'jojo' and he waould casually wonder back.<br />
<br />
We buried him under a big beautiful tree in our back yard ourside our bedroom window. <br />
We are still doing renovations in our back yard but when we get to fixing that area we will put a proper little plaque there in rememberance our our awesome little dude.<br />
<br />
We, as a family had a memorial service for him and layed flowers on his grave. We placed a rock there with his collar, bed and bowls, as well as flowers.<br />
<br />
JoJo...We loved you more than any pet ever! You will forever be in our hearts, minds and family. You were a legend and will always be remembered as our friend and gentle being as well as fun, cheeky and mischieviouse. We will ALWAYS LOVE YOU!<br />
<br />

Hi all, <br />
Sorry I havnt been back here for a while. Ive been quite unwell. You see the sad news is that we lost our little 'suprise' on Monday 2nd July 2012.<br />
I have been on a weird and strange roller coaster of emotions since then.<br />
Let me explain our story...<br />
Sunday1st June, I wasnt feeling the greatest. I had a headache that had been nagging all day. I was feeling sick, tired, achy and just unwell. I put it all down to pregnancy hormones and being away and in the car for too long.<br />
<br />
Sunday night around 10pm, i went to the toilet and there I saw the most undesirable thing a pregnant woman could see while pregnant...Blood!<br />
I wiped again thinking it may just be a small amout but no...there was more, alot more. :(<br />
As it was school holidays my kids were still awake. Trying to hold back the tears I called my husband into our bedroom. As soon as the door was shut I burst into tears. He asked what was wrong and I told him.<br />
He tried to comfort me saying things like "it might stop" "cant that happen in pregnancy?" "It'll be ok"<br />
Just like my firt miscarraige...I just knew. A woman has a strange way of 'just knowing' when we're pregnant and we also have a way when its slipping away. I sat in bed and cried...no, sobbed uncontrollably.<br />
My kids were wondering what was happening but my husband just said it ok and put them to bed.<br />
I took some panadole and my husband told me to get some sleep and we'll see how we are in the morning.<br />
SLEEP? <br />
Was he kidding? I tossed and turned all night, my baby was in my thoughts the whole time and each time i fully woke I teared up.<br />
<br />
The next morning I woke at 7am. I went to the toilet and yep...sure enough lots more heavy bleeding...this time accompanied with lots of pain,<br />
My husband wonderfully organised the day off work, dropped the kids at a friends place and drove me to the hospital.<br />
By this stage the pain was getting alot worse. I had a heat bag for the pain.<br />
<br />
When we arrived at the hospital they took me straight in. Took my details and bloodpressure. That was all over the place. I felt dizzy and sad.<br />
Once they got me into a bed they took blood test and they needed and they needed a urine sample.<br />
I was ushered down to the toilets with plastic specimen bottle in hand.<br />
As I peeed, I felt a strange sensation.<br />
I looked down and saw a blood clot, then again another much bigger clot right after. Perfectly round bubble like.<br />
<br />
Right there, staring at me in the hospital toilet was what I believed to be...my baby...my child...my love!<br />
<br />
Weirdly for a moment I was thinking of fishing it out...yep. Discusting, but at times like this you do think very bizzare things...but then I thought..'ugh, it a public hospital toilet...who knows what I could catch'<br />
I stood there staring at it for while, crying.<br />
I hesitated to flush the toilet but I had to. When I did, this terrifying thought went through my head..."UGH, I JUST FLUSHED MY BABY DOWN THE TOILET" I started sobbing again.<br />
Anyway, I cleaned up and pulled myself together.<br />
<br />
I walked out of the toilet and handed to specimen jar to the nurse. She said to me "are you ok?" I starting to tell her what happened in the toilet but started crying again, I couldnt get it out. I finally did. He rubbed my shoulder and told me to lie down and rest. I hugged my husband and just cried and cried.<br />
<br />
I was taken for an ultra sound and was told "there was no visable matter left" {Nice way to talk about my baby, huh?}<br />
After being in the hospital for a few hours my blood test came back too, and said that the pregnancy hormone is still there but dropped dramaticaly since my last blood test (the ones I had the week earlier that appeared to be perfectly fine). <br />
They sent me on my way home and told me that i must have had a complete miscarraige. I was told to just go home and rest.<br />
<br />
Which I did. <br />
<br />
I layed in bed and slept till dinner time. When i woke my husband came home with the kids.<br />
We told the kids and they were devistated.<br />
Mis mimi just broke down and cried her little heart out, and Little T just went deathly silent. With a few tears rolling down his cheek.<br />
My babies broke my heart as I know exactly how they feel.<br />
I had no answers, no reasons just cuddles and lots of love.<br />
<br />
We got pizza for dinner that night, rented out 'toothfairy 2' and chilled out.<br />
We had a lazy, chilled out night, Bedtimes didnt count, nutrition went out the window. It was all about comfort and healing. Which as a family we are still trying to do.<br />
<br />
We planted a beautiful gardenia tree at our front door in rememberance of our little poppy seed. (nicknamed as we imagined the tiny size of a poppy seed as the size of the baby...even though it was actually about small fingernail size) Placed at the front door so we can see it everyday.<br />
<br />
3 and a half weeks later...this is where Im at.<br />
I thought I was going ok. I rested for a few days and got back into life. I was going to the gym, shopping...going about as normal. As though nothing happend.<br />
Im due to get my next period tomorrow and I feel so yuck.<br />
Im so hormonal, cranky, tired, and emotional.<br />
Im angry, sad and fragile.<br />
I have constant headaches and my body hurts.<br />
Im tired and just want to sleep. <br />
I want to hide.<br />
I feel as though Ive had a slight delayed reaction with the whole ordeal. Yesterday i thought alot about my baby. It realy actually sunk in what happened. <br />
<br />
I have put on loads of weight, got pimples and look anemic.<br />
im constipated. I feel nauseas 24/7.<br />
<br />
Im going to get another check up with my doctor and see a natropath again. I just feel unwell.<br />
<br />
Overall, it just sucks!<br />
<br />
I know I will be ok. I know life goes on and things will ease. But for now Im just taking life slow. Being with my family and keeping warm.<br />
<br />

journey!</span></a></h3>
<h3 class="post-title entry-title" itemprop="name">
I met my wonderful, wonderful husband back in 1996 when i was just 17. We fell in love and we married in November 1998...the Best thing we EVER did! I love that guy!<br />
In 2002, we found out we were expecting our first baby. We were very, very happy. Although we wanted to wait 5 years, once we got that news...all that didnt matter.<br />
All was pretty straight foward. Not feeling too sick, not much in the way of cravings. In April 2002, at 15 weeks pregnant I started spotting.<br />
That sickening, horrorfying feeling in the pit of my stomach came. I instantly broke down and sobbed. I just knew.<br />
A trip to the E.R confirmed the bad news. A long story short, a few days later I was admitted for a D & C and that was the most empty, sad feeling. I cant even begin to explain.<br />
<br />
Two months later, when all was settled with my body we got the green light to try again. Right on Cue...we fell pregnant again that month!!<br />
We were very lucky.<br />
<br />
At 12.36am Friday, 28th March 2008 {after a 27 hour labour} we welcomed Our beautiful, amazing, precoiuse little girl into the world. That was such a surreal moment.<br />
<br />
When our baby girl turned 14 months, We once again we were thrilled to discover bub number 2 was on their way.<br />
At 7.30am Friday 8th February 2005 We met the most amazing, handsome little man. Our son. Our little dude!<br />
<br />
For the past 7 years, hubby and I have been tossing up whether we should have another. Weighing up the pro's and cons...well they were kinda equal, so it has been a VERY , VERY hard choice to make. Ever since I was 9 years old I said I would have "3 babies". We knew we always wanted another...we just needed a 'woopsy' to force that decision. LOL.<br />
<br />
On saturday 19th May 2012, I got my period...4 weeks later, around the 16th June I was to get my next one. It never came. Sometimes my period can do this. I have been known to be 'late' at times. Sometimes going 5 weeks. But a few more days past and I was getting suspicious.<br />
I told my hubby I was going to get a Home pregnancy test and he said "nah, just wait another week"...are you kidding me!!!???<br />
Once I have my mind set I have to test. This was what I got...<br />
<br />
FRIDAY 22nd June 2012 test done at 3.30pm...6 Days late...<br />
<br />
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ivy1SGWagDw/T-cMMFD2eLI/AAAAAAAAB4Q/E4-JDMq5CxA/s1600/tn.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="258" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-ivy1SGWagDw/T-cMMFD2eLI/AAAAAAAAB4Q/E4-JDMq5CxA/s320/tn.png" width="320" /></a><br />
<br />
So, so feint...I almost thought I was imagining. I had to hold it up to the light and kinda squint to see anything. Hubby told me it was all in my head. He 'claimed' he couldnt see anything. What do you think?<br />
<br />
SATURDAY 23rd June 2012 taken at 8am...7 days late<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-drbaCZ4ZdZA/T-cNTjZ7KvI/AAAAAAAAB4Y/WRSFSaLKRUI/s1600/test2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="245" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-drbaCZ4ZdZA/T-cNTjZ7KvI/AAAAAAAAB4Y/WRSFSaLKRUI/s320/test2.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
Yep...Im pretty convinced theres a line. Hubby still deny's...but with a silly grin, LOL.<br />
<br />
SUNDAY 24th June 2012 Taken at 9am...8 days late.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d5e4Jc1040k/T-cNWvtbUHI/AAAAAAAAB4g/sC03lQl_6Fo/s1600/test3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="245" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-d5e4Jc1040k/T-cNWvtbUHI/AAAAAAAAB4g/sC03lQl_6Fo/s320/test3.png" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Ah, yeah...we're PREGNANT! Hubby couldnt deny this. Even though its still not DARK, DARK...there is a line...and that line keeps popping up, ever darker each day.<br />
<br />
That makes me 5 weeks pregnant.<br />
{I have to still make a doctors appointment to confirm with blood test, scans etc...I still freak a little with the whole miscarrage thing.}<br />
<br />
Ok, so we are having a baby!! A little aprehensive...but alot happy. Not planned exactly, but defintly wanted.<br />
<br />
This blog will be a week-by-week diary/journal of our baby bean. I plan to journal what happens as a keepsake for my baby.<br />
For my other two, I did this by hand but with one, ive decided to do it online.<br />
<br />
Feel free to follow my, our journey as a family, as we go from 4 and become 5.<br />
Here we go..."<br />
<br />
My new blog you can find <a href="http://babybaby13.blogspot.com.au/" target="_blank">here!</a> and it's aptly named... "Oh Baby, Baby!".<br />
So our nest is growing from 4 to 5! Yay!<br />

Ok so, Last week I did a blog post on my homemade pizza's. I said as I made different ones I would post about it. Well, Sunday night we had friends over for a Lazy, fun catch up. We actually originally planned to go to the beach and watch the sun set over wine and nibbles but as it turned out it was freeeeeezing, wet and miserable out so I told them to come here, to our home instead where it was warm and cosy. They still brought their nibblies {cheeses, shaved hams, olives, etc, etc} but I thought seeing we were staying home I would cook sum pizza's for us all. So along with the ones I posted about last, I also made these two...<br />
<br />
1) My take on an Italian favorite...<br />
I have on it...<br />
*Pizza sauce<br />
*Proccuitto<br />
*cherry tomatoes<br />
*Kalamata olives<br />
*Philedelphia cream cheese<br />
* Fresh Rocket Leaves (to top)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i1-nU7YmmNA/T87Ge06bj0I/AAAAAAAAB2Y/HPZupIyArh0/s1600/02062012566.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-i1-nU7YmmNA/T87Ge06bj0I/AAAAAAAAB2Y/HPZupIyArh0/s320/02062012566.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
It is a very simple, basic pizza that ALWAYS seems to cook up so lovely and tastey. Its always a winner. The cream cheese, although a little unusual for pizza is devine. A bit like fetta once cooked.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RZd-_YDkabM/T87GowdycHI/AAAAAAAAB2w/w_gf1O0cVlE/s1600/02062012569.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-RZd-_YDkabM/T87GowdycHI/AAAAAAAAB2w/w_gf1O0cVlE/s320/02062012569.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Next is "pizza roma with rocket & Parmesan...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
This has *Red onion</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*2 cloves of garlic</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*450g minced beef</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*6 thin slices of salami, chopped</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*140g tomato paste</div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
* freshly shaved Parmesan cheese</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>

Mmmmmm...pizza. Generally Friday night is Pizza night in our home. But not just any old pizza, yummy, healthy, wholesome homemade pizza.<br />
<br />
I thought seeing it is such a favorite in our home I would do a super quick blog on this.<br />
I make my own bases in the breadmaker.<br />
Heres my pizza dough recipe...<br />
*400ml of water<br />
* 2 tablespoons of Olive oil<br />
* 2 teaspoons celtic sea salt<br />
* 5 cups of bread flour<br />
* 3 1/2 tsp of yeast<br />
<br />
Throw all in the bread maker in that order. Click on the dough setting. Wait approx an hour and a half. Once mixed place the ball of dough onto a floured surface, slice in half. Roll one half into a round pizza shape. Place onto pizza tray/stone.<br />
A tip* Roll the dough slighly larger than the tray. Then roll the edges into the base around the edge to fit the tray its on. Doing this creates a 'crust' on your pizza. It rises nicely at it cooks.<br />
<br />
Then let it sit for about half an hour to allow the base to slightly rise and thicken.<br />
Then simply place your topping on.<br />
<br />
For the first one I pretty much placed on what I could find in my fridge and pantry...<br />
tomato pizza sauce,<br />
Zuccini,<br />
Chopped tomato, <br />
mushrooms, <br />
capsicum, <br />
olives, <br />
sundried tomatos,<br />
red onion, <br />
Very thinly sliced celery,<br />
smoked shaved ham, <br />
fetta cheese and<br />
grated cheese....<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wDvd5DcatNQ/T732PIl3VBI/AAAAAAAAB10/WxKsorcbXhM/s1600/18052012423.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-wDvd5DcatNQ/T732PIl3VBI/AAAAAAAAB10/WxKsorcbXhM/s320/18052012423.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The second one is boring yet my kids favourite (sorry about the side pic). On this i have...</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*pizza sauce</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*Shaved smoked ham</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
*Pineapple</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
* grated cheese</div>
<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I do a few other toppings but I was thinking that as I cook these pizzas I will blog them.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Not very good pics, but with a bottle of red, a side salad and a new release dvd...These pizza's make Friday nights the best!</div>

HaPpY MoNdAy all! I thought I would start the week off with a pretty blog about my new garden spot. I found this georgouse little bench seat on ebay for a very, very cheap price...and I won! yay!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0HBFg1aJZYA/T7n8dPYC9nI/AAAAAAAAB0o/lYsFGPnkoFc/s1600/$(KGrHqJHJBwE9rnk1wd8BPm72Qt2Yg~~60_12.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-0HBFg1aJZYA/T7n8dPYC9nI/AAAAAAAAB0o/lYsFGPnkoFc/s320/$(KGrHqJHJBwE9rnk1wd8BPm72Qt2Yg~~60_12.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Isnt it just toooo cute??? It has such a rustic, homely, french farmhouse feel to it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I had the perferfect spot for it outside my dining room window. I still need to tidy up around this are and I also want hubby to build a wooden screen to hide his 'beer fridge', not exactly somthing i want on display next to my pretty garden. <br />
I had a ton of old terracotta pots and an old cast iron pot dug half way under dirt in the back yard where 'polly' our little chicky used to be.<br />
Here is the result...<br />

This little project is a bit of a lame one. It is so basic and a little sad looking & quite frankly Im a tad embaressed, however I thought I would share this post as I was happy with my re-use of items and also, my lovely son is happy with the results...so thats good, I guess.<br />
<br />
At the moment my little T, {as most 7 year old boys are at the moment}, is obsessed with <a href="http://www.trashpack.com/meet-the-trashies.aspx" target="_blank">the trash pack</a>s. He saw in the junk mail, a sale on trash pack trucks and extra little trashies to go along with it. So he tore it out, pulled apart his money box and worked out if he could afford it. He was a little off affording it so he worked his little butt off around the home untill he had enough money saved to buy it. The big day came and he hasnt looked back since. He was so excited to have his trash pack truck.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5C0L3FkNzFY/T6eAoUaUWrI/AAAAAAAAB0Y/jNRlyo6R1Ww/s1600/trash.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-5C0L3FkNzFY/T6eAoUaUWrI/AAAAAAAAB0Y/jNRlyo6R1Ww/s1600/trash.jpg" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Anyway, we had all these little trash cans that didnt fit in the truck so he asked me to find somthing to put them in. I hunted through my cupboards and found an empty Aldi coffee pod container. They are metal tins and quite sturdy. It was perfect. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
I soaked the label off it, cleaned it and then gave it a spray of silver.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
A bit of gooey green paint oozing out of it made it look 'bin-like' . I then carefully painted 'the trash pack' on it.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
The end result...</div>

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
Like I said...a very basic, simple and not-so clever project but Im realy happy I got to re-use and recycle.</div>

<br />
We made heart shaped shortbreads with lemon icing.<br />
Very simple to make with only a few simple ingredience...<br />
<br />
2 Cups of self-raising flour (sifted)<br />
1 Cup of custard powder (sifted)<br />
2/4 cup icing sugar (sifted)<br />
1 block of butter<br />
<br />
Mix together with your fingers untill it turns into a dough. This does take some time so you may want to have someone close by to chat to, my kids provided great enetertainment for me, heehee also you may have or want to purchase a fancy pants 'pastry blender' that does this job a bit quicker. I purchased mine from '<a href="http://www.robinskitchen.com.au/" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">robins kitchen</a>' for only around $7, a great investment I think.<br />
<br />
Once you have a smooth dough roll into a ball and place on a floured bench and roll out. Cut out your shapes...<br />
<br />
The kids loved 'cutting' the cookies (we had our lil' neighbor friend help out too)...<br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Placed the cookie heart shapes onto cookie trays (or as we used pizza trays lined with baking paper) we used a fork to lightly place marks onto the cookie dough. I think it just adds that professional look, LOL...</div><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Once cooked to a golden colour we took them out of the oven to cool. We made lemon icing with pure icing sugar and a squeeze of lemon, mixed to a failry thick paste consistancy. If you like to get that 'lemon' look you can add a very. very small drop of lemon food colouring and mix it in well to give it the lemon look. But this isnt neccary. Put icing on ONE under side of of the cookie and squish another on top...</div><br />

As the school holidays draw to an end and my lil' family winds down I thought i would blog about the day we enjoyed last Monday with our beautiful friends...Claire, Dave and their lovely daughters Megan and Olivia, Maddona and Eric, Larissa and Paul and their gorgouse kids Tiana, Jay & Ally....and the 4 of us, of course.<br />
<br />
About a month ago my husband was lucky enough to get a 'brand spankin' new, off the showroom floor' work car. It so happened to be the new B-50 Mazda 4WD duel cab ute. It was a bit of a treat for us as we've never had a new, new car ever before. My hubby is 40 at the end of this year and feels a bit chuffed that he actually got a brand spanker before he hit 40, LOL.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uN0CZyu1uYk/T4gSyBKNxxI/AAAAAAAABto/ENdsU3wM_6o/s1600/imagesCA1DAEH2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-uN0CZyu1uYk/T4gSyBKNxxI/AAAAAAAABto/ENdsU3wM_6o/s1600/imagesCA1DAEH2.jpg" /></a></div>Somthing we never expected to ever have...that along with having our own home!! The 2 things we NEVER in our craziest thoughts we'd have...pretty exciting huh?<br />
<br />
Anyhoo...back to last Monday. We, along with our friends decided to head out west...just past beau dessert (around the scenic rim) and head for a 4WD track. Now as ive mentioned many, many ties me and my husband are coasties. We've only been 4WDing a couple of times and it was on Stradbroke island...along the beach another once when we camped at Balina beach. So heading out to the dust and hills was a tad different...but it was such a fun, fun lovely day. Just check out the scenery...<br />
<br />
Can you see the waterfall in the distance?...<br />

<br />
I've been hearing all this hype about 'Pinterest' over the past year and a few months back It seemed like my kind of thing...some described it as "Pinterest lets you organize and share all the beautiful things you find on the web. People use pinboards to plan their weddings, decorate their homes, and organize their favorite recipes." and "Pinterest is an online forum for creativity. Users can create inspiration boards that link directly to the source of each project/recipe/photo etc. They can follow someone else’s boards, whose tastes and interests they admire. And there is space to open a discourse about what is pinned via comments and “likes”. <br />
I read more about it <a href="http://pinterest.com/about/" target="_blank">HERE</a><br />
Creative, inspirational, arty...this sounds like my kinda thing!!<br />
I signed up for an invite (yes, you need an invite...for some reason you cant just join??) (you can find me <a href="http://pinterest.com/mimi1979/" target="_blank">In this link</a>) Once I got my invite Imust admit I was a little confused/overwhelemed by it.<br />
I went off it for a few weeks and discovered a blog raving about it. So I got back onto it and gave it another shot. Ok, after spending a couple of hours 'playing' last night and I was pleasantly suprised. Ithink Im now 'in love'...IGET IT!<br />
You can get onto this site and click on a pic, save it and then it takes you to the place it came from (i.e if its a tutorial on DIY for example).<br />
Pics like these...<br />

<br />
<br />
Prep time: 10 minutes <br />
<br />
Ingredients<br />
<br />
1 cup sugar (can reduce to 3/4 cup)<br />
<br />
1 cup water (for the simple syrup)<br />
<br />
1 cup lemon juice<br />
<br />
3 to 4 cups cold water (to dilute)<br />
<br />
Method<br />
<br />
1 Make simple syrup by heating the sugar and water in a small saucepan until the sugar is dissolved completely. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
2 While the sugar is dissolving, use a juicer to extract the juice from 4 to 6 lemons, enough for one cup of juice. <br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
3 Add the juice and the sugar water to a pitcher. Add 3 to 4 cups of cold water, more or less to the desired strength. Refrigerate 30 to 40 minutes. If the lemonade is a little sweet for your taste, add a little more straight lemon juice to it.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Serve with ice, sliced lemons.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
Yield: Serves 6.<br />

Anyway, after a looooooong process I was able to download some pics tonight {apologies for the sideways poics...not sure what happened there as Ive turned them}.<br />
At the start of last school term My husband and I told Little T that if he tried his hardest at school we would throw a party for him in the summer holidays.<br />
We'll im happy to say he did exceptionally well the last term of school so he got his party.<br />
He thought of a 'dinosaur' theme as he & his little mate Jay, is totally into them at the moment. Its so cute.<br />
So we picked a date, made a list of names and got organising.<br />
I looked up <a href="http://www.paperandcake.com/products-page/birthday/">paperandcake.com</a> and it was a total life saver. I downloaded, printed and cut and pasted EvErYtHiNg!!!!<br />
It saved me a ton load. <br />

Summer colds...is there anything worse? hehe. Anyway, its kind of been nice to stop today. We have been going non stop since last friday. Last friday we had a 'dinosaur party' for My son. Saturday I was cleaning up and cooking for our 'beach day' down at Hastings point, NSW. (see the pic below) Its such a stunning place and we spent the whole day there with our beautiful friends. Getting there at 7am and leaving at 5pm, we had a ball. The kids swam, played, snorkeled and we all ate and relaxed.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7FxRRU9fU_g/Tvlknoz7WeI/AAAAAAAABlk/iBHT5UJcXUc/s1600/prop-img-full-eqvu243n-17a3pwoc9ni0w.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; cssfloat: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" rea="true" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-7FxRRU9fU_g/Tvlknoz7WeI/AAAAAAAABlk/iBHT5UJcXUc/s320/prop-img-full-eqvu243n-17a3pwoc9ni0w.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We went for a big walk and saw crabs, shells etc...Such a lovelytime. We slept well that night too, heehee.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"> Then on Monday we had our dear fiends over for a big canadian breakfast. Yes, yes fatty, heart attack on a plate but once a year a feast of bacon, eggs, pancakes topped with mapel syrup is devine! Oh, and I cant forget the champagne. hehe.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We then threw the kids in the pool and we relaxed chatting. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Last night we cruzed down to 'Yatala' to the <a href="http://www.yataladriveintheatre.com.au/">drive-inn</a>. Was so much fun with the kids as they've never been and we went witha few car loads which made it even more fun and exciting. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8RFq44nMosI/TvlnaRixkOI/AAAAAAAABlw/SYD9ZKc3jiw/s1600/imagesCAJMSEIW.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" rea="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-8RFq44nMosI/TvlnaRixkOI/AAAAAAAABlw/SYD9ZKc3jiw/s1600/imagesCAJMSEIW.jpg" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">We took matresses and set the kids up outside with food etc. We saw 'happy feet 2' and 'puss in boots'. Was fun.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">So any way, I today i think i needed to just stop and not think. Although it has been super fun, non stressful stuff...we havnt stopped. Late nights, early mornings and im tiiirrrreedd plus sick.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Oh well, thankgoodness its holidays and we can all chill and relax together.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">xo</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
